Check out the companies making the biggest moves midday: Dell Technologies — Shares rallied more than 10% as part of a broader upswing in tech. The gain would be the stock’s sixth in seven sessions. Dell also got a boost after RBC initiated coverage with an outperform rating. “We believe DELL is well positioned as a primary beneficiary of the global IT spending environment, as enterprise, sovereigns and cloud providers aggressively direct capital towards AI infrastructure,” RBC said. Vicor — The power components maker rose about 11%, on pace for its best day since July 30, after the company said it was acquiring two sites in New Hampshire for additional ChiP fab manufacturing. Shopify — Shares popped nearly 4% for the Canada-based commerce company after Bernstein initiated coverage for the stock and gave an outperform rating. The analysts gave a $160 price target, implying a 26% upside from Thursday’s close and noted AI would expand rather than hurt the company’s performance Skyworks Solutions — Shares rose more than 8% after the semiconductor company said at a Goldman Sachs conference that it expects its acquisition of Qorvo to close before year-end. Qorvo shares advanced 5%. Qualys — The cybersecurity stock fell 6% following a downgrade at Wedbush to neutral from outperform. The firm said Qualys’ core business is facing significant pressure. GameStop — The video game retailer and meme stock climbed nearly 3% after CEO Ryan Cohen disclosed he purchased 1 million shares at an average price of $20.375. Cohen now owns 39.347 million shares. As of Thursday’s close, that stake was valued at around $802.28 million. Oracle — The software giant was down slightly after its post-earnings rally fizzled. Shares rose as much as 10% after Oracle said it earned $1.92 per share on an adjusted basis and posted revenue of $19.35 billion. Analysts polled by LSEG sought $1.74 per share and $19.14 billion. RH — Shares of the home furnishings retailer rose almost 2%. RH posted second-quarter revenue of $922 million, beating the LSEG consensus call for $915 million. Full-year revenue guidance calls for growth in a range of 5.5% to 7%, while analysts sought a 5.6% increase. NuScale Power — The designer of small modular reactors tumbled 14% after UBS downgraded the stock to sell from neutral, dialing back its price target to $6 from $10 and pointing to NuScale’s long build timeline. Oklo — The nuclear power play slid more than 7% after the company entered an at-the-market common stock sale agreement . CNBC’s Nick Wells contributed reporting.
