Wall Street Live: US stocks edge lower as Middle East conflict escalates | Stock Market News

US stocks opened lower on Tuesday on escalating the Israel-Iran conflict and ahead of the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy decision. 

At the opening bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 156.5 points, or 0.37%, to 42358.62. The S&P 500 fell 21.0 points, or 0.35%, to 6012.15​, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 74.1 points, or 0.38%, to 19627.082.
