Google has announced that the Pixel 10a will debut on Feb. 18, with the confirmation coming via a YouTube teaser video posted on Feb. 4. This marks an earlier arrival for the latest budget A-series model compared to the Pixel 9a, which went on sale in April last year. The video gives a closer look at the design and camera array of the Pixel 10a and confirms at least one colour. The teaser highlights a familiar design in line with the A-series, featuring a flat back, rounded edges, metal frame, and a pill-shaped horizontal dual-camera module aligned perfectly with the rear surface rather than protruding. This flush camera setup should prevent wobbling on flat surfaces.
The camera array includes two rear lenses plus a flash positioned separately outside the module. It is expected to mirror the Pixel 9a’s configuration, likely with a 48MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The device integrates Gemini as its built-in AI assistant, and Google describes it as the most durable A-series phone to date. The teaser showcases it in a blue shade, while reports suggest the full colour lineup will include Obsidian, Fog, Lavender, and Berry.

Expected specifications point to Google’s Tensor G4 chipset powering the phone, possibly with slightly higher clock speeds for improved performance over the previous model. A 6.3-inch LTPS OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a variable refresh rate reaching up to 120Hz is anticipated.
The battery capacity is expected to stay at 5,100mAh, with support for up to 23W wired charging. Storage variants are rumoured to include 128GB and 256GB options, both paired with 8GB of RAM.

Pricing is expected to hold steady with no increase from the last generation, despite supply chain challenges and rising component costs. In Europe, it is tipped to match the Pixel 9a’s structure at around EUR 549 (roughly Rs 59,000) for the 128GB model and EUR 649 (about Rs 64,000) for the 256GB version.
Pre-orders for the Pixel 10a are set to begin on Feb. 18. Google Store subscribers who sign up by Feb. 13 will receive exclusive offers via email on the pre-order start date, which they can apply to their purchase to unlock a benefit towards a future order.
