State-owned gas utility GAIL (India) reported a strong set of earnings for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, driven by healthy growth in its core gas businesses. The company posted a 96.1% year-on-year (YoY) jump in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to ₹4,670.99 crore, compared with ₹2,382.24 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from operations rose 16.7% YoY to ₹41,350.18 crore from ₹35,428.81 crore. EBITDA stood at ₹7,573 crore, while the EBITDA margin came in at 18.3% during the quarter.
Segment-wise, Natural Gas Marketing remained the largest revenue contributor, generating ₹43,558.67 crore, followed by Transmission Services (Natural Gas) at ₹3,042.09 crore, City Gas at ₹2,256.11 crore, LPG and Liquid Hydrocarbons at ₹2,039.21 crore, Petrochemicals at ₹646.08 crore, and the Other segment at ₹323.05 crore.
