BPCL Q3 Results: Maharatna PSU profit jumps 89% YoY to ₹7,188 crore, dividend declared | Stock Market News

BPCL Q3 results: Maharatna PSU Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) announced financial results for the October to December quarter on Friday, 23 January. The state-owned company’s consolidated net profit rose 88.87% to ₹7,188.4 crore from ₹3,805.94 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.

BPCL’s revenue from operations during the quarter under review rose 7.13% YoY to ₹1,36,653.12 crore from ₹1,27,550.57 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.

The consolidated net profit rose 16.1% on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis from ₹6,191.49 crore in the previous quarter of FY26, while the revenue from operations grew 12.3%.

BPCL’s operating margin improved to 6.77% in the third quarter of FY26 from 3.75% in the corresponding quarter of FY25. On a QoQ basis, the number marginally increased from 6.21% in the September FY26 quarter.

BPCL dividend announcement

The state-owned company announced the second interim dividend for the financial year of 2025-26 of ₹10 per equity share of the face value of ₹10 each, along with the financial quarter results.

“The Board of Directors at its meeting held on 23rd January 2026 has declared the second Interim Dividend of ₹. 10/- per equity share of face value ₹. 10/- each, i.e.100% for the financial year 2025-26. It may kindly be noted that the above dividend would be paid only through electronic mode on or before 21st February 2026,” BPCL’s exchange filing read.

The record date to determine eligible shareholders for the interim dividend has been set for Monday, 2 February.

“The Board of Directors has fixed Monday, 2nd February 2026, as the Record date to determine the eligibility of the shareholders to receive the second Interim Dividend. The meeting of the Board of Directors commenced at 4 p.m. and concluded at 6.10 pm,” it added.

The PSU announced the results after market closing hours on Friday. The shares closed 1.37% lower at ₹349.30 a piece after the market session on Friday, while they opened at ₹354.3 on the BSE.
