Check out the companies making the biggest moves in premarket trading: Trump Media & Technology Group — Shares of President Donald Trump ‘s social media company and tech company were down 11% after a decisive victory by Democrats in the U.S. midterm elections Tuesday night. Trump owns 41% of the company, which owns social media platform Truth Social. Democrats taking control of Congress add a check on the president’s policies. Tesla , SpaceX — Shares of Elon Musk’s Tesla and SpaceX dropped nearly 6% and more than 7%, respectively. The moves come after the Democrats won control of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Many of the newly elected candidates have critical positions on the rapid data center build-out that’s been fueled by artificial intelligence. SpaceX operates an AI supercomputing infrastructure in Tennessee and Mississippi , while Tesla has one in Texas. Neocloud stocks — Shares of so-called neocloud companies moved lower, with CoreWeave dropping 7%, Iren tumbling 6% and Nebius slipping about 5%. The Democratic wins in Texas and rejection of data centers in ballots across the country is expected to create hurdles for data center plays. Novo Nordisk — Shares gained over 6% after the global healthcare company reported earnings of 5.79 Danish kroner, or about 63 cents per share, compared with Wall Street expectations of 5.10 kroner, or about 55 cents. The company raised its fiscal 2026 outlook, citing expectations for GLP-1 product sales. CVS Health — Shares fell more than 2% after the company said it would split into two separate publicly traded companies by the first half of 2028. The move would reverse CVS’ $78 billion acquisition of Aetna and separate the company’s retail pharmacy business. McDonald’s — The fast-food restaurant chain reported mixed quarterly results , sending shares 2% higher. Adjusted earnings came in at $3.57 per share, topping the $3.38 expected from analysts polled by LSEG. However, its revenue of $7.16 billion fell short of the $7.29 billion consensus estimate. Duolingo — The language learning software company surged 18% after reporting third-quarter revenue of $309 million. That topped an LSEG consensus of $303 million. Monthly active users totaled 153 million for the quarter, exceeding a 149 million forecast. Adjusted EBITDA margin also topped expectations. Alight — The employee benefits consultancy popped 22% after raising its outlook for the full-year 2026. Alight sees revenue in a range of $2.115 billion to $2.125 billion, versus the FactSet consensus estimate of $2.09 billion. Adjusted EBITDA guidance of $410 million to $420 million also beat the Street’s estimates of $404.4 million. Avis Budget Group — The car rental agency slid about 2% on mixed third-quarter results. Avis earned $5.15 a share, a steep decline from $10.11 per share in the year-earlier period. Revenue clocked in at $3.44 billion, slightly ahead of a FactSet consensus of $3.42 billion. Advanced Micro Devices — The chipmaker was last little changed after reporting stronger-than-expected third-quarter earnings . Adjusted earnings of $2.09 per share topped estimates for $1.95, according to analysts polled by LSEG. Revenue forecasts for the current quarter also came in above estimates. Toast — The restaurant management software company dropped 5% despite delivering third-quarter results that topped estimates, according to FactSet. Toast also said CFO Elena Gomez will leave the company at the end of 2026 and will be replaced by senior vice president of finance Michael Senno. Skyworks Solutions — The provider of wireless networking services slumped about 11% after guidance for the current quarter disappointed the Street. Skyworks anticipates adjusted earnings of about $1.25 per share and revenue of $1.80 billion to $1.90 billion in the fiscal first quarter, short of LSEG consensus estimates of $1.50 a share and $1.99 billion. Skyworks completed its combination with Qorvo in early October, and the first quarter marks the first combined quarter for the two. Super Micro Computer — Shares of the server company jumped 2% after Super Micro earnings per share and revenue beat Wall Street estimates. For fiscal year 2027, the company expects net sales to range between $72 billion and $82 billion, above the LSEG consensus for $69.17 billion. Arista Networks — The cloud networking company gained 4% after current-quarter guidance topped estimates. Arista sees fourth-quarter earnings of $1.26 to $1.30 per share on revenue of $3.9 billion to $4.0 billion. Analysts surveyed by LSEG were looking for $1.15 per share and $3.60 billion. Block — The fintech stock rallied 9% after Block posted third-quarter earnings and revenue that exceeded expectations, and raised guidance for the full year ending December. Adjusted earnings of $1.13 per share topped the $1.03 LSEG consensus estimate, while revenue of $6.72 billion beat the $6.59 billion consensus. Freshworks — The software stock tumbled about 10% even after the customer support ticketing company posted stronger-than-expected third-quarter results and full-year guidance. Freshworks earned an adjusted 22 cents per share on revenue of $245.4 million in the latest quarter, above earnings of 18 cents on revenue of $245.1 million analysts polled by FactSet expected. The stock has recently outperformed, rallying more than 20% over the past three months. — CNBC’s Darla Mercado, Deena Zaidi, Paulina Likos, Sarah Min, Davis Giangiulio, Ananya Chetia and Fred Imbert contributed reporting.
