IPO GMP: Even though stock market investors advise primary market investors to review the company’s balance sheet before applying for its initial public offering (IPO), investors remain vigilant about grey market sentiment, even after thoroughly reviewing the company’s financials. For such IPO investors, there is a mainboard IPO available at an upper price band of ₹300 apiece, and the grey market is signalling multibagger returns. So, the mainboard IPO GMP is signalling more than ₹300 per share return to the lucky allottees.
Interestingly, there are still a few hours left to apply for that IPO, as the bidding for day 3 will end at 5:00 PM today. In the wake of the ‘T+3’ listing rule, share allotment from the company is expected tomorrow, as its shares must list on the Indian bourses within the three trading days after the end of bidding today.
The IPO we are talking about is Tempsens Instruments (India) IPO, which opened on 20 August 2026 and bidding for this mainboard IPO will remain open until 5:00 PM today.

Tempense Instruments IPO review
Mahesh M Ojha, VP — Research & Business Development at KC Securities, assigned an ‘apply’ tag to the public issue, saying, “At the upper price band of ₹300, the issue is valued at 37.3x FY26 P/E, which is at a premium but can be justified by its superior growth, niche positioning and leadership in the segment. Overall, we view Tempsens as an attractive growth-oriented industrial opportunity, with potential for long-term value creation. Hence, we recommend Investors to subscribe to the issue with Listing Gain as well as Long Term Horizon.”
Anand Rathi has assigned a ‘subscribe’ ag to the book-building issue, saying, “Tempsens Instruments Limited, at an implied P/E of 35.4x and EV/EBITDA of 25.64x on FY26 earnings at the upper price band. Given its strong revenue growth, diversified product portfolio and expanding international presence, the company may command a valuation premium. The IPO valuation appears fully priced at the upper band and we initiate a “Subscribe: Long Term” on the IPO.”
Adroit Financial Services, Ajcon Global Services, Arihant Capital Markets, BP Equities, Canara Bank Securities, Geojit Investments, GEPL Capital, Marwadi Shares & Finance, Swastika Investmart, and Ventura Securities have also assigned an ‘apply’ tag to the Tempense Instruments IPO.
